Man kills sister over love affair, walks on road with her chopped head in UP

A man who came in shock from Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh was seen carrying his sister's severed head on the road. Accused Mohd Riyaz was reportedly arrested on charges of murder.

Rijaz's chilling video is going viral on social media. In the short clip, he casually walked down the road holding his sister's severed head. The defendant is said to have been unhappy with his sister's love affair after she eloped with her partner. In a fit of rage, Riyaz cut off his sister's head near their house.

A case was registered by their relatives and the accused was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police. The dead body was taken over by the authorities. It was sent for an autopsy. Further investigations are underway.

Earlier this year, a local court sentenced a 45-year-old man to death for beheading his mother. According to reports, he murdered his mother at a plot in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district.

The man also tried to kill his wife when she tried to save her mother-in-law. The convict cut off the mother's head with an axe. He demanded land rights after his mother. He also forced her to stay with his second son.

The murder was planned, the court observed. The crime was committed on the defenseless mother in a very inhumane and barbaric manner, she further stated.
